Ostrich and Suri Alpaca Leather Change Coin Wallet
Ostrich and Suri Alpaca Leather Change Wallet by Tobin Marcus
Suri Alpaca Leather has always been recognized for its beauty and resilience to wear. The Incas of Peru used Alpaca Leather for clothing and for creating large bags to transport items thousands of miles. The leather used for this wallet originates from a Suri Alpaca Farm in Puno. Nestled along the banks of Lake Titicaca in Peru.
The tanning process takes several weeks in which the leather is hand rubbed to bring out its natural shine. The 0leather is then bench cut and the pieces are assembled by hand. The wallets are sewn using the same tradition and care in craftsmanship as they were a hundred years ago. The only difference today is that the thread used is a polyester marine grade industrial thread. Absolutely the highest quality available in
these modern times.
With its beautiful Andean Ostrich detail, this wallet is truly a one of the kind piece. Guaranteed to serve its owner well for many years.
